Something else I wrote recently, it is where I got the name for my blog. Just an analogy that popped into my head and then i expanded on it.

As Christians we constantly live in the night, in a dark world. God is like the sun, burning so bright, so glorious. If the sun were to enter our orbit, if we were to see God we would burn alive, we would be struck dead by his pure glory. But as Christians we are like moons, we can create no light of our own. We can only hope to reflect God's glory and light into the dark world, into the night. We can only hope to be as full as possible a moon can be, so as to greater shine into the darkness. But the sun will come again, and morning will dawn, and we will all be able to see him, the Son.

Finding Peace - A Poem

Some things I think about, trying to break out of the everyday race

Finding Peace

When diamonds become rocks
When the money in your wallet becomes just plastic and green paper
When clothes become just a necessity to keep you warm
When the TV's smile doesn't fool you, and neither does your own
When you wonder what we're racing for
When you wish their crucifixes didn't block out the bright Son
When there is nothing you can do that can keep you from infinite love
When you look around and realize you are an alien, and you yearn for when you get to go home

First Time!

I've never blogged before, but I have always written down my thoughts, just usually in a handwritten format. So here goes these are all just my thoughts for anyone who cares enough to read them let me know what you think
